What it gets right
- Panasonic publishes power, voltage, frequency, capacity, temperature range, dimensions and weight — the complete set, which no other brand here manages
- 1,300 W and infrared elements means no preheat in the usual sense
- 500°F ceiling in a 7.2-quart cavity is a genuinely high heat density
What it doesn't
- 7.2 quarts is small — four slices, and a 9-inch pizza is optimistic
- The infrared elements are not adjustable in the way a multi-element oven's are
- Expensive for its size, and you are paying partly for the engineering discipline
