Wattage and Running Cost, by Model
Every oven on the site for which we could find a manufacturer-published wattage, with its cost per hour and per year computed from that figure. The gaps are the point: many brands publish nothing.
We earn a commission if you buy through our links. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not decide our picks — the scoring rubric is published in full, including what disqualifies an oven. How this works.
The table
Every oven below carries a wattage its manufacturer actually published — in a manual, on a rating plate, or on the product page. The cost figures are computed from that wattage at 18.83¢ per kWh and 30 minutes a day, 365 days a year, and every one is an upper bound because the elements cycle off once the cavity is hot. Ovens with no published wattage are deliberately absent: we will not put a guessed number in a reference table.

What the gaps tell you
Notice how short this table is against the number of ovens on the site. A large share of manufacturers — including several charging two and three hundred dollars — publish no wattage anywhere we could find. That is not our omission; it is theirs, and it is worth weighing when you choose. A brand that will not tell you what its oven draws has made a decision about how much it expects you to know, and one of our five scoring metrics rewards the brands that choose the other way. The rubric is published here.
Almost every full-size oven that does publish sits at 1,800 watts — the 15-amp circuit ceiling. The genuinely lower figures belong to the small four-slice ovens, which draw less because they heat less. That is the whole spread: 1,150 to 1,800 watts, and everything above the budget tier bunched at the top.

1,800 W
Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro (BOV900BSS)
The most completely documented oven in the category, and the only one at any price whose manufacturer publishes a rated wattage, an interior volume and a full element layout in the same place. You pay roughly four times the category floor for that, and about a third of the premium is the documentation itself.

1,800 W
Cuisinart Chef's Convection Toaster Oven (TOB-260N1)
The only oven here whose manufacturer publishes both a wattage and an interior volume in cubic feet on the same page. 0.95 cubic feet at 1,800 W, with a stated list of what fits — a 13-inch pizza, a 9x13 pan, nine slices.

1,300 W
Panasonic FlashXpress Toaster Oven (NB-G110P)
The most completely documented oven on this entire site relative to its size: 1,300 W, 120 V, 60 Hz, 7.2 quarts, 250–500°F, exact millimeter dimensions and a stated weight. Panasonic publishes all of it, and almost nobody else does.
